Having gotten over the whole—Frisco? WTF?—aspect of the program, I appreciate the Dmag link. We lived there in the early aughts and I reckon music awards and sports beats the heck out of lead smelters(see Gould, which may have been already gone by then) and power plants for a tax base.

What do you mean when you said the artists performed without any music.
I watched the show and thought it was horrible.
